Council must be aggressive on annexation ; the issue: The city of Cheyenne may be ensnarled in legal action over a proposed annexation.

Once again the city of Cheyenne finds itself embroiled in a dispute over a proposed annexation. Good.
And once again residents surrounding the land are threatening to sue.
So what?
It is the job of the City Council to grow Cheyenne, not be cowed every time someone gets ...
City right to look at annexation ; the issue: A developer is asking the city of Cheyenne to annex property near Southwest Drive which was ruled illegal by a judge about four years ago.

The city of Cheyenne is doing the proper thing by testing the annexation waters to see if a proposal on Southwest Drive is legal.
Ken Clark is asking the city once again to annex about 94.4 acres of land east of Southwest Drive, just southeast of the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
