Serving central portions of the Garden State, Saint Peter's University Hospital has more than 450 beds. Sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen in New Jersey, the hospital provides patients with more than 900 physicians and dentists on staff. Saint Peter's also offers a variety of services including a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, minimally invasive surgical (MIS) procedures, and specialized cancer, diabetes, geriatric care. In affiliation with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Saint Peter's provides cardiac care for infants and children. The teaching hospital is also affiliated with the Drexel University College of Medicine. Saint Peter's University Hospital was established in 1907.
