Haynes Corporation was founded in Jackson, Michigan in 1960 by Laurance Haynes as a manufacturers representative involved with large stationary, marine and generation diesel engines, and related parts. In 1972, the company acquired Adeco Products, Inc., a Chicago based firm. This brought HAYNES Corporation a heavy diesel fuel injection product line. In 1976, the Busch-Sulzer Division of Nordberg Manufacturing Company was purchased, adding significantly to our engineering capabilities and expertise.
