Sunset School is one of two campuses for grades 4-7 in the Coos Bay School District. We have 464 students among our four grade levels. We are committed to creating a safe and respectful learning environment for each of our Sunset Dolphins.
Our 4th – 6th grade students are in self-contained classrooms, much like a traditional elementary school. 7th graders change classes for math, science, language arts, social studies, music, and physical education with content-area specialists. We are proud to have a school that has the community feeling of an elementary and the flexibility of a middle school.
