Garrett Motors is one of the oldest family owned and operated dealerships in the state of Arizona. Our goal of complete customer satisfaction has kept out customers returning for over 60 years. The history of Garrett Motors started in 1937 when the Oldsmobile franchise was awarded to the Case Farm Implement in which Jack Garrett had a working interest. In January 1948, Jack and his son Jim purchased the dealership. Jim had served as a marine fighter pilot in W.W.II, and after the war, returned to Coolidge to help his father run the dealership. At age 79, Jim Garrett Sr. still works at the dealership 6 full days a week. In 1981, Jim Garrett Jr. along with his wife Lisa joined with Jim Sr. to make Garrett Motors truly a family run business. Based on Garrett Motors' high customer satisfaction index, Chevrolet granted them a franchise in 1984.The Buick, Pontiac and GMC franchises were awarded to them in 2001. Garrett Motors is a Chevrolet 5 Star dealership and has been recognized with many awards throughout the past 60 years. Most Recently, they were awarded with the " 1999 Business of the Year Award" by the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce.
