Century 21 was founded in 1971 by Art Barlett and Marsh Fisher, two real estate agents in Orange County, California. The name Century 21 comes from the “Century 21 Exposition” held in Seattle, Washington in 1962. Century 21 Real Estate LLC is the franchisor of the world’s largest residential real estate sales organization, providing comprehensive training, management, administrative and marketing support for the Century 21 System. Century 21 is comprised of approximately 8,500 franchised broker offices in 64 countries and territories worldwide.
