Camp Fire was founded in 1910 by Charlotte Gulick and her husband, Luther Gulick, M.D., as the first nonsectarian organization for girls in the United States. Authorities on child health, education and recreation, Mr. and Mrs. Gulick wanted to provide girls with an opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities and find pleasure in new challenges. In 1975, Camp Fire expanded its programs to include boys. In 1992, the organization changed its name to Camp Fire Boys and Girls to emphasize the organization's new coed focus. With the new century, our organization has chosen a new name - Camp Fire USA. Our mission statement is "Camp ...Join Jigsaw for the Most Complete Business Contact Directory.
