ECCO continues to use kanbans and continuous flow methodologies to improve cycle times. Through the diligent efforts of the Co-Op Team, a Change Review process replaced the cumbersome Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process. However, perhaps the most significant event for 2001 and ECCO, in general, has yet to come. It is anticipated that by June, 2001 the ECCO Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) will become the controlling shareholder of ECCO. This is an exciting time for current and future Team Members!
