What Can The Davis Groupe Do For You?
Sounds like a simple question, and normally it may be, but for us at TDGLLC, it can be difficult with a lengthy answer. When we initially started in business, I really had no idea how many times a purchasing agent or engineer would ask me or one of our other employees this question. It did not take long to figure out how important this was to them. They needed, no, they had to know, specifically how we could help them.
We found a quick solution without answering the question. The solution was a question to a question—”What are your critical needs?” With some discussion, it did not take long for the person we were talking with to describe what was their major issue, problem or need. Once identified, we found a way to meet that need and provide a solution whether it was fabricating robot bases for Toyota Motor Manufacturing or assembling wiring harnesses for Nissan Motor Manufacturing. Our company has thrived and found a niche by Providing Solutions. We did not have all the resources internally-no company does. Yet, as I often say about myself, “I don’t know much about anything, but I know somebody who does”, and we do. I knew we could be successful a few years ago when Wal-Mart became, for the first time in history, the US’ largest company without manufacturing anything they sold, (We even manufacture some of our products.)
