A Jigsaw’s member’s activity statistics, rating, member level, and member badge are displayed on the member’s profile page. You can go to any member’s profile page by clicking on the member’s screen name on the Contact Business Card page or Company Information page. Member’s own screen name, badge, rating and total contribution number are shown in the header as shown below:

Account Rating

Member profile shows the following key statistics about a member. You can click on the number to find out more details.

Data Contributions
Data Contributions reflects the total data related activity of a member. It is the total number of all add and update actions for Contacts and Companies.

Rated Data Contributions

  • Rated Data Contributions reflects the subset of Data Contributions that were rated by other members of Jigsaw. For example, an Add Contact action is only rated if the Contact is purchased by another member within 30 days.
  • Positive Data Contributions reflects the subset of Rated Data Contributions that are positively rated by Jigsaw members. For example, an Add Contact action is considered Positive Data Contribution if the Contact is purchased by another member within 30 days and not Updated.

Rating

  • Rating reflects the quality of the member’s data contributions to Jigsaw.
  • The Rating is the percentage of Rated Data Contributions that are positive.

Privilege Level

  • Each member has a privilege level assigned by Jigsaw.
  • The privilege level is based on the Rated Data Contributions and the Rating Percentage.
  • High privilege levels offer more privileges to the member such as updating companies without requiring Jigsaw approval.
  • In the future, Jigsaw will offer additional valuable privileges for different levels

Merit Badge
Each member has a merit badge corresponding to their privilege level in Jigsaw. The merit badge is always displayed next to screen name of the member.

Jigsaw Ratings Policy

The following is the Jigsaw Rating policy:

    80% - 100% Normal rating
    70% - 80% A pleasant email warning
    60% - 70% An unpleasant email warning
    < 60% Member is locked out

Notes:

  • All Members will eventually get a few bad ratings
  • Jigsaw has a 30 day waiting period for other members to act upon their Adds, Updates or Reported Contacts
  • Inevitably a member will put a Contact in the system that was good that day, but changed the next
  • Provided this is the exception, and not the rule, members will easily maintain a high rating
