Matt Garceau: Getting more bang - and bling - for the buck
Jigsaw Member Profile
Matt Garceau is a partner for Orbis Technology, a technology consulting firm. Matt sells to technology executives at Fortune 1000 companies, including CIOs, vice presidents of technology, directors and managers of technology, and project managers.
Personal Challenge
Matt was spending about $1 per name to buy lead lists. Yet there was no guarantee that the names would be of value - or even valid. Other research methods proved much too time-consuming. For example, the Orbis sales team would spend hours sifting through resumes on Monster.com in search of reference names that might make good sales targets.
Enter Jigsaw
Matt heard about Jigsaw and asked two of his salespeople to try it out. His sales team said it was better than any tool they had used before.
Results
"In the past, I've spent thousands of dollars on leads," Matt said. "But nothing has beaten the accuracy or the amount of information you can get from Jigsaw."
Matt particularly likes the fact that Jigsaw is "self-healing," since users continually check and cleanse the data. Matt is a "pay" member, and he enters hundreds of points into the system.
"I love it that I can give away my lousy leads - which might be great for someone else, but just not for my business - and then get some great leads in return," he added.
