Jigsaw Offers New Service, Jigsaw Clean to Bring Greater Data Accuracy to CRM Systems

San Mateo, CA - September 17, 2007 - Corporations currently dedicate significant resources and money to the never-ending task of keeping their CRM systems up-to-date with accurate contact information. Today Jigsaw, the online directory of business contact and company information built by and for its global membership, announced the availability of Jigsaw Clean, a subscription-based service that automatically and regularly cleans, maintains and builds the data in corporate CRM systems. With Jigsaw Clean, companies tap into the Jigsaw directory of more than 6.5 million contacts, which is maintained by its community of more than 300,000 members.

Jigsaw Clean periodically scans a company's CRM database in order to update and augment out-of-date contacts. It finds, flags, and deletes dead records by comparing the database to records in the Jigsaw graveyard, currently numbering more than 1 million contacts. The system also automatically identifies and removes duplicate records. Using the Jigsaw directory as a reference, Jigsaw Clean updates inaccurate data and augments incomplete records with up to date information such as direct-dial phone numbers, email addresses and titles.
