The Role

Jigsaw is looking for an experienced Product Manager responsible for taking our award-winning website jigsaw.com to the next level. Jigsaw is a community-built business directory — a platform enabling wiki-like collaboration on the world's most valuable business data.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for all aspects of Jigsaw's website functionality.
• You will have an open mandate to make rapid, widespread improvements to Jigsaw's website and the underlying community model.
• You will work closely with our user interaction designer to design powerful and rewarding user experiences.
• You will work with our Engineering team see your project built according to your vision.
• You will report directly to Jigsaw's Senior Website Product Manager.
• You will be based at Jigsaw's headquarters in San Mateo, CA.

Ideal Qualities, Skills, Experience and Education:

• Above all – a passion for creating and driving a world-class web experience.
• 2+ years of website or interactive software product management experience.
• Ability to deeply understand the customer and to discover creative product solutions that address customer needs.
• Extensive experience writing detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and communicating them effectively and efficiently to other stakeholders in the company.
• Highly metrics driven — define clear quantitative objectives and persistently measure product performance against those objectives.
• Strong organization and project management skills required to juggle multiple projects at a time.
• A bias for speed tempered by an insistence on process.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field required; MBA or other Masters degree a plus.
• Fondess for Texas Hold 'Em poker a plus – but not required!
