Transport Canada probes Fast Air's safety standards

A Manitoba corporate, charter and medivac air service company was the subject of a search warrant Wednesday and is under investigation by Transport Canada.

However, it is business as usual at Fast Air on Hangar Line Road.

Andrea Rudniski, a spokeswoman for Transport Canada, said the regulator is investigating safety standards.

"Transport Canada is currently conducting an aviation enforcement investigation to determine whether or not Fast Air is in violation of aviation regulations," she said.

She wouldn't say what prompted the investigation.
