Fed: Motoring body pleased with budget

CANBERRA, May 13 AAP - Australia's peak motoring body has strongly endorsed the $20
billion Building Australia Fund.

Australian Automobile Association (AAA) President Alan Evans said the fund, which will
fund roads, railways, ports and broadband, was very welcome.

"Overall, we give this budget a tick," Mr Evans told reporters.

Association research and policy director John Metcalfe said the best part of the budget
was the decision to hand out funds immediately ...
