SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Feb. 9 -- Lincoln Land Community College issued the following news release:

Lincoln Land Community College will inaugurate a Lincoln Lecture Series and sponsor other activities on the main campus Feb. 12 in observance of the Lincoln Bicentennial.

The First Annual Lincoln Land Community College Lincoln Lecture will feature Dr. John Squibb speaking at 9:00 a.m. in the Trutter Center on "President Abraham Lincoln and the Election of 1860." The public is invited at no charge and a continental breakfast will be provided.
