SPORTS broadcaster Setanta was on the brink of collapse today.
There seemed little hope for the stricken station after the SPL pulled the plug on its lucrative rights contract yesterday.
The firm could now plunge into administration within 24 hours, with more than 400 jobs at risk. And subscribers looking forward to a summer of sport could be left with blank screens.
But SPL boss Lex Gold insisted Scottish football was not in crisis, despite the collapse of the TV deal with stricken broadcaster Setanta.
