HAMDEN -- Quinnipiac University's men's indoor track team has fallen victim to the fight over gender equity in the school's sports teams.

The university Tuesday cut the men's team, while reinstating the women's volleyball team, after a federal judge issued an injunction stopping Quinnipiac from dropping volleyball.
