Richard Lange's Los Angeles is not the stuff of Rodeo Drive or elite nightclubs. It isn't populated by the rich and famous who sit court-side watching the Lakers at the Staples Center, or the tourists who flock to the Hollywood Walk of Fame to fill the handprints of Marilyn Monroe or Arnold Schwarzenegger.
