CHINO - An open house at an elementary school set to close its doors following budget cuts provided for a lot of emotions and fond remembrances.

Current and former teachers as well as students on Thursday paid tribute to El Rancho Elementary School, which is set to close its doors for the summer in June.

Many teachers, such as Debra Vance, clutched pink flowers given to them by students who will have to attend three other schools in Chino next school year, when boundary changes go into affect.
