JIMMY Calderwood has insisted he would be prepared to consider a swift return to the SPL with either Falkirk or Motherwell. The former Aberdeen boss has been on holiday in Majorca since news of his acrimonious departure from Pittodrie broke on the last day of the season.

But despite him twice leading the Dons to European qualification and into the knockout stage of the Uefa Cup the season before last, he has hardly merited a mention in connection with any of the vacant SPL positions.
