The president of the Oswego School Board resigned Thursday, citing a conflict with his service in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Andrew Young is the second School Board member in three months to bid farewell to the district - and the school superintendent also has submitted his resignation. Young's resignation is effective immediately. Young, a mobilized Army reservist, joined the School Board in 2005.
