JOLIET - Four veterinary medical technicians and their manager from Chicago's Shedd Aquarium came to Joliet Junior College to perform surgery on bananas.
"If you can suture banana skin and not tear it, then you'll be OK with the animals," Scott Keller, the coordinators of JJC's veterinary medical technology program, told the Shedd group before they entered "surgery."
