By Michael Drakulich Staff Writer Students at Kerkstra Elementary School in Oak Forest took the mini Relay for Life cancer research fundraiser personally this year, Principal Lori Wazny said. "This year they were really connected to it and I think that has a lot to do with a student here who is sick. It's much more personal to them," Wazny said.
