A Homestead man was sentenced Thursday to life plus an additional 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison for shooting a man in the head in 2007.
Terrence Johnson, 21, was convicted of first-degree murder by a jury in December for the May 16, 2007, slaying of James Windsor, 25, of the West End. Windsor was found lying in front of Mon View Heights Housing Community in West Mifflin.
Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge David R. Cashman imposed the sentence. The jury also convicted Johnson of two charges of illegally carrying a gun.
