Fairfax County Public Schools issued the following news release:

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) and Superintendent Jack D. Dale will be recognized by the College Board on Monday, October 6, for encouraging high school students to take Advanced Placement (AP) courses and for financing examination fees. The recognition, to be presented by College Board president Gaston Caperton, will take place at 1 p.m. during the Fairfax County School Board's work session at the Gatehouse Administration Center I.
