George M. Keller, former chief executive of Chevron Corp. and father of New York Times executive editor Bill Keller, died Friday in Palo Alto. He was 84.
The San Mateo resident died as the result of complications from orthopedic surgery, according to Emma Keller, his daughter-in-law. He is survived by three sons -- Barry, Bill and Bob -- and six grandchildren.
