Los Alamitos will ask voters to approve bond

LONG BEACH - Voters in the Los Alamitos Unified School District on Nov. 4 will be asked to approve a $126 million bond measure to fund repairs and upgrades.
Measure K requires support from at least 55 percent of voters to pass.
The money is needed to fund repairs and technology upgrades at the district's 10 aging schools, said Superintendent Gregory A. Franklin.
"We have 10 schools that were all constructed between 47 and 54 years ago," he said.
